I can't even put into words the love and appreciation we have for all of the people who have helped us thru this crazy cancer journey. The meals that friends and family have provided have given us the time we so desperately need between school, work, activities, sports and doctors appointments. The numerous offers to pick our kids up and tote them around town has been a lifesaver (Jon Beahan, Tina Hite Stever, Debbie Appling, Sam Teo). The gift cards and monetary gifts have helped pay down our medical bills. The gift baskets have all brought a smile to my face and I've used so much of it (lotions, socks, lip balm, Jolly Ranchers! You all did waaayyyy more research than I ever did!). The cards, texts, phone calls, visits, hugs.... Those have all been so golden to me. I still can't wrap my arms around all of the "Black and Gold" support.... Nicole Atchison Wallace with the shirts I see being worn everywhere, Shila Faries and the bracelets all of my friends are sporting (while my sweet all-time lifesaver friend, Danette Robb hand-delivers and personally mails them out!), and all of the profile pictures with the Black and Gold ribbons that Patti Adair started. My trusty long time sisters from other misters, Meg Bechtold and Diana. Thank you all sooooo much for your loving support. Mark and I couldn't be more fortunate and blessed and we are forever in your debt (you all know who you are... I'm sorry if I missed you on a tag.). I'll make it my goal to pay it forward twofold.
